It’s with a truly, truly broken heart I have to say that my beautiful wife, Kate, sadly lost her battle with cancer and has so cruelly been taken away from me, our daughter, her family and friends.

In true style, Kate was an absolute warrior until her very last breath and showed bravery I never thought was possible. Lucia will be without her mummy in body, but never in spirit. Kate adored Lucia more than words can begin to describe, everything she accomplished and worked for was for her - this, Lucia will always know. I want to thank everybody for their support over the last couple years. Your messages of support throughout helped Kate and I to stay strong and realise how many people loved and were rooting for us. Your generosity in fund raising has been overwhelming and difficult to comprehend. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Anybody that had the pleasure of knowing Kate personally will know how incredibly passionate she was for things she cared for - particularly her family and friends, but also for raising awareness of this horrible, horrible disease to prevent other families from suffering what has become our reality. Please remember Kate for the truly amazing person she was and will always be, but also as a reminder that this disgusting disease is indiscriminate and you should check for any changes regularly - both men and women. Set up a reminder, make it part of your routine for Kate.

Kate was one of the most genuine, beautiful, brave individuals we had the pleasure of knowing.  She touched the lives of so many people and will never be forgotten.
 
Kate often referred to Cancer as the “Sneaky” disease and when you look up the meaning she was so right..
 
It’s underhand, scheming, devious, sly the total opposite to everything Kate was and stood for. 
 
She fought with every breath against this evil disease that took her precious life away from her heartbroken family and friends.
 
Her mission was clear, she would make a positive impact on the lives of others and raise awareness to ultimately capture this “sneaky’ disease as early as possible, before it takes a hold.  As her business is going from strength to strength Kate had started to incorporate a giving element from the sale of her products and this was and will continue.
 
Kate chose Coppafeel to support as her business grew because of their incredible ability to raise awareness within young people due to their relatable messages and approach.  Also because of her admiration for Kris  the founder of the charity who has turned a very negative Cancer diagnosis into a vibrant, positive, energetic message and life’s mission, one which Kate had dreamed of becoming very much part of.
 
Chris, Kate’s husband and the business have received many requests from people wanting to donate to Kate’s chosen charity so in her honour we have established this page to pay tribute to her wishes.
